You've been having these, um, nightmares. 

They're not of the horrific kind. No. Frankly, they're very annoying, and yet... every night has left you wide-eyed and hollow.  

Your friends wants to help you, but you don't need their help. You don't want their help. You can and will manage well all on your own.

All you need is perfection.

STORY

THE BLUE ROOM is a short visual novel about the dangers of overworking oneself (and the grand ol' importance of sleep). Would our protagonist grow from their mistakes, or would they be another cautionary tale?

It was originally created for the Slice of Jam game jam (taking inspiration from its déjà vu theme) and is now completed with new GUI and an updated script by yours truly!

FEATURES

• Nameable, gender-neutral protagonist (with a default name attached)
• Two(?) friends who care for your wellbeing (to varying degrees)
• Around 5k words (meaning less than an hour's worth of reading)
• Illusion of choice (what a stubborn protag)
• Original music (that enhances the experience)
• Two endings (a good and bad to match)
