Cupid's Bargain serves as a prequel to my 2023 game The Things You Do For Love!!, taking place about a year or so before Arielle "Ari" transfers schools for reasons unknown.
You do not need to play the original game to enjoy this one, but… If you want more yandere shenanigans while playing as the yandere themself, go for it!

Dude this game is literally what triple A games wish they were--polished, witty, and compelling the player (me) to buy 5 million dollars worth of DLC.
The opening scenes are just golden, and honestly some of the best ways to characterize our lovely and dear mc, because this is HER world and we are all meant to suffer in it. Speaking of, the voices used for characters and narration alike are so freaking funny and witty, I love absolutely everyone, including Grace (like Face) Sara (With an H).
The conversation with Ari featuring love triangle talk and fandom reactions was so painfully true... they're just like me fr...!! And of course I'm enamoured with our Angelic and Demonic idiots. Give me a slice of devotion pie will you?
Now... I want a burger without ketchup and some cold fries...

Super entertaining from start to finish!! The ritual + gossip sequences are such good openers. I immediately knew the game was going to be a banger.
The designs are charming too, and I especially liked MC's character!! I support her rights and wrongs <3 The dialogue is witty, the UI is adorable, and everything else fits so well.

I really loved the demo and the Cupid's Consultation timed choices! It really raises the stakes!
The dialogue is witty and quite well written. The MC sounds really distinct from all the MCs I've played as recently so it was a really nice breath of fresh air.
Sometimes it was a bit unclear who was speaking, especially when the two LIs were. I got who I apparently "preferred" in the end with no clue how I got there.

See, I saw this on tumblr and I got so excited. I'd once attended a catholic girl school and got even more excited. And when I'd opened the game, I felt overjoyed because the mc actually looks like me. She's made with my identity in mind. Not customised and ambiguous to the story at hand, I'm ACTUALLY being seen by the story at hand and it makes me feel like I'm actually going to be loved by the LIs, yk?
I'm so happy to see LIs who are Black and brown skinned that exists in MY end of the internet of dating sims. Not in some media I'm not interested in, but as a part of my dating sims mania!! URGHHH I'VE WON THIS YEAR.

Loved it ! The game was fun, the MC is kind of crazy and the LI are so pretty. I like the fact that their personalities are the oposite of what you expect them to be as they are angel and demon. Excellent job, I'll be waiting for the full game.

Just finished this demo and I loved it! Eros and the LIs sprites are gorgeous, she never misses with her witty remarks, the plot is pretty interesting, I've always wanted to play a matchmaking otome game even if the advice and intent come from a less than good place lol. Eros is an agent of chaos and I can't wait to see more of her in future updates. Also, loved Arielle's take on love triangles and stoic leads, I also feel the same way about them.

This was a fun first look!! First of all it’s awesome to see not one but three darkskin main leads, and I love how Eros has such a strong personality! I got real old-school shoujo vibes from this (the premise even reminds me a bit of Watashi ni xx Shinasai) so I laughed so hard when they started bringing up classic tropes lol. Overall lovely art + GUI, banging music, and I’m super excited to see the full game!!

Whatever the hell it is that you put into your games, you should just bottle and sell that ish, expeditiously 🤣😂 I am SO mad the demo felt so short, but that just means the wait for the full version will be totally worth it.
